Hawthorne Flooring US Disaster Relief Program

Hawthorne Flooring, Inc. has announced today a new initiative to aid fellow Americans in times of crisis. The Hawthorne Flooring US Disaster Relief Program is aimed at helping anyone in America rebuild after a natural disaster.The program is not limited in scope to large scale disasters but is available to anyone who has suffered loss or damage of their home or business due to uncontrollable natural events. NC GreenPower

Hawthorne Flooring, Inc. has begun another new initiative to positively impact the climate change situation. For every container (@15,000sqft) of flooring or decking that is sold by Hawthorne, they will purchase 120 blocks of NC GreenPower . Each block is equivalent to 100kwh. According to their calculator each purchase of 12,000kwh of NC GreenPower cleaner, renewable energy will have the effect of:

• Not burning 9720lbs of coal
• Offset generation of 24,970lbs of Carbon Dioxide
• Offset generation of 78lbs of Sulfur Dioxide
• Offset generation of 31lbs of Nitrogen Oxides

The reduction in Carbon Dioxide emissions from each one of our purchases will have the environmental equivalent of planting 1920 trees or not driving 30,398 miles in your car.
